Between 5% and 10% of the UK population identifies as lesbian, gay or bisexual (LGB).

New laws mean that employers must take steps to prevent discrimination and harassment of all LGB workers.

Regulations now outlaw discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation in relation to the provision of goods, services, premises, education and public functions.
